I choose Steve Carell because of the Office, He is gr8 in the Show. He also is gr8 at playing the Cringe Character. It does suck that I am posting this when he is starting to sell out.

I gotta go with Colbert, he can play the crowd in character, not to mention going toe-to-toe with some pretty intelligent people on an almost daily basis, again in character. It's just impressive to see him roll with, again in character. His, in character, lambasting of Bush at the corespondents dinner took some balls too.

I think they're both geniuses in their own way. On the Daily Show I think Colbert nudges out a win. He's got such a quick wit in interviews they're real pants-pissers. Off the show I think Corell/Correl/Correell whatever. The 40 Year Old Virgin was the funniest movie I've seen in years.
