The were saying the winner might be 10+

I actually like to watch the pro's struggle, when they are -22 it makes it look to easy, I think they need to be challenged.

It's so weird. When I woke up this morning, I thought to myself, "I really hope ESPN puts someone in the announcer booth that really doesn't know that much about the game, has an annoying voice, but can come up with shitty nicknames for everyone." I was soooo happy when I turned it on and saw Berman doing it. Hooray.

Great finish. Last guy on the course is Tiger and he's set up with a putt to force a playoff.

He just could NOT close, at all, today.

I also find it funny that on these really hard courses, there's usually one or two Americans towards the top of the leaderboard, and every one else is foreign. American golfers are so fucking babied.

I believe it's based on rankings of the player, either their ranking in the tournament or in the world.

Tiger's the number 1 player in the world, so he's listed first any time he's tied with others.

EliSnow

Just an addition to my previous point, I think the fact I mentioned can be proven by looking at the pairings when several people are tied for #2. The leader would clearly be in the final pairing, but if let's say 4 people are tied for #, who would get to play with the leader. The answer is by seed or ranking of the players. So, if you list the tied players by their seed/ranking, you'll see what the pairings will be.

BTW, congratulations to Tiger for the birth of his baby daughter Sam Alexis yesterday morning.

Two of the top three finishers in this U.S. Open were American.

Six of the top ten finishers in the Open were American.

The final pairings are not based on world ranking or seeding. They are based on the previous round. For instance if two others were tied with Tiger at +4, whoever shot the low round the previous day would be in the later pairing.
As far as in the middle of a tournament when players are tied, who gets the nod? It is supposed to go in order of holes finished. Tiger was pushed to the top when he was tied, because he is Tiger and people we see his name on top of the leader board and watch.

At the end of Saturday, whoever ESPN interviews, other than Tiger, had a foreign accent. I thought it was hilarious.

I think you may be right that the leaderboard was mostly foreign after the third round. Plus, with interviews, I think the foreign players are generally more entertaining than the American ones.

Foreign players are far more entertaining. American golfers are getting to be like NASCAR drivers. They don't want to say anything that could shut off the endorsement spigot.

And, did anyone else see the golf bag with the Jesus fish on it on Sunday? I think it was Baddeley's. It was, I just looked on his website. Funny, on the front page of his site, no mention of Jesus at all. Just his sponsors. Huh.
