Now the two volumes of "The Traveling Wilburys" are being reissued thanks to efforts made by Harrison's widow Olivia, bringing back to public notice what had started as a kind of fantasy camp for rock stars. (http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Music/06/11/music.wilburys.reut/index.html)

Awesome. After being out of print for 10 years I can finally pick these CDs up. I have them on tape, but this reissue will have a "new DVD documentary, bonus tracks and other goodies."

Next Tuesday! Tweeter and The Monkeyman return!

love the Wilburys...i too only have Vol. 1 on tape...i wasn't crazy about Vol. 3....Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty in one band...awesome...Judd Apatow used End of the Line in the movie Knocked Up

These albums are fun and pleasant to listen to, but if it weren't for the names behind them, they'd be totally forgotten and unremarkable.

thats the point, it was an amazing super-group. be excited about it. not everything in music has to be too cool for the room

First it was about having taste, then if you're not impressed with it, you're too cool?

Just because a bunch of big names get together doesn't mean it's some incredible thing, or even that good.
