im not very interested in what the announcement turned out to be, but for all of you who didnt see it yet


it was the agency

a game based for the ps3 and pc, which is an MMOG and is a shooter..

point is, for like 2 months now they have hyped this day as the day that we finally get a game that 360 owners wished they had... and now im saying take it... we dont care about this shit, stop trying to give us gay exclusives, the only games we care about now adays are socom, killzone, metal gear solid 4, warhawk, lair, and a few non-exclusives.. i say put a trailer up for one of those games, kuz lets face it, we will never see a demo of this shit, sony doesnt bother with demos... except maybe warhawk or lair, because warhawk has the beta and lair is not far away, and is getting a demo soon anyways

Metal Gear Solid 4 will be going 360. In fact, the only exclusive I'm interested in is God of War 3, but I won't buy a PS3 for it. Hell, I still haven't bought Final Fantasy 12 yet, so I shant be buying a PS3 for FF13.

that was a rumor... that hideo himself quickly jumped to denounce... his quote was "i dont have a problem bringing other franchises to the 360 but metal gear solid wont be coming to the 360, it was made for a sony console"


and also he said earlier before mgs4 was announced that he hated the xbox controller... normally i would just say FACE and move on, but you have to understand that most of the japanese market revolves around Nintendo and Sony.. they dont like the xbox much at all, so its understandable that a Japanese person would not like the xbox, regardless of his status in the world

When I saw the title of this thread, all I could think was "Shit, Sony decided not to give us a price cut afterall."

actually Sony has been quoted on saying a price cut will happen in the near future.. or more to what they said "a price cut isnt out of the question"


just think... the ps2 was like 400 when it came out, and it went down to 200 like 4 months after release


the ps3 only has blu ray and the cel processor to add high cost... so once those start to decline in price, then we can see the ps3 dropping drastically...


it shouldnt be more then another half a year until a price cut... but to be smart sales people they probably wont tell us until it happens
