If I'm not mistaken, your friend got it backwards. I think the Serbs hate us for helping the Albanians. From what a Bulgarian friend told me, most of the countries around there hate Albanians and anyone who likes them. When he talks about them, you'd think you were hearing a Klansman talk about blacks.

Albanians slaughtered Serbs. Stories of Albanians slaughtering Serb soldiers right after fighting a battle in one of the world wars. Then the Serbs turned around and were slaughtering the Albanians. In the end, everyone hates somebody. Why do you think the world hates us? We haven't even committed genocide against anyone over in Europe exempting the Germans, but everyone else in Europe was genociding the Germans during that war and had been doing so for centuries before it was even Germany. They all bandy together because hate is something that every man has in common. Pretty sad.

I listen to the Alan Colmes radio show at night and periodically Colmes will play a tape of Bush making that statement, followed by about a half dozen or so instances of the Deciderator saying, "We've got to stay the course," "We must stay the course," etc.
