Typically if a phone is capable, you will not need to add software. Try checking out the manufacturers website for a manual if you don't have one. Most phones that play video support a format called "3gp", which can usually be played in Quicktime or VLC without much hassle.

you need to convert the video into a format the phone can play, usually 3GP as mentioned below. First find out what your phone can play, then maybe someone can suggest some software to convert existing video into that format.

Sorry, Not much help, but I had that phone for a week. I returned it due to battery life. They say up to 4 hours talking time, which translated to about 50 minutes. Also, it never stays lcoked when in your pocket. I did like the camera, and mp3 player was ok too, but I would rather have a phone that lasts a few days at least before a re-charge.

Orb is awesome. I was about to say the exact same thing before I saw your post. I stream movies to my phone on long road trips with it. I also stream my own R&F best of's when Earl screws it up.
It can also be used like a portable XM unit if you listen through the internet.
Battery life is only good for about one movie though. :/
