I keep getting an "Invalid File" message. I tried using an old avatar that I used in the past, with no problem, and I still get the same message.

What are the image dimensions? Height, Width, file size

If I'm not mistaken, the maximum size for an avatar used to be 30 kb, now it's 19.5. I had to optimize a few of my old ones, too.

Just out of curiosity, I just tried to change my avatar and can't. All are well within the 120x120 and 19.5 KB parameters.

Must be a glitch in the system.

The avatar specs didn't change. The old site just sucked at validating them.

I just had the same error. It is 98x120 and only 6.5KB - everything within the specs. Still, I am getting the "Invalid File" error.

I tried everything. So, thinking I needed to clear the one I was using (which I only uploaded about a week ago) I did that. Then when I had no luck throwing a new one up I tried to go back to the one I just cleared and got the same "Invalid File" message.

i've been having this problem too. i tried to do a new avatar last night but got that same "invalid file" message.

i just chalked up to being drunk or that the board was trying to shun me. or both.

I'm just trying to keep a little spam out of my inbox by not directly posting the email address. It's not like I hide my contact info in general (you can always find my aim, paltalk, pm, email, etc. in my profile), and I can always be found on aim and yim if I'm online.

Still not working, Jon. Something's changed. When you try to upload it from your computer, the full name of the file is getting cut off for some reason.

Mine's coming up " /Pictures/Avatars/blah.jpg" and nothing preceding it.

Also, at some point last week the message board stopped displaying correctly on my PocketPC phone... Used to look like a cute little version of the message board... now it's mostly text without graphics... is the right thread to bitch and whine on... just checking...

I'll look tonight. I realized today that vB 3.6.7 broke ImageMagick. I've been moving things to GD2 instead, but that is probably the cause.

Search is your friend. We changed to a cleaner WAP version for PocketPC phones for fast browsing with phones/PDAs.

Imagemagick was to blame. Now using the GD library and it fixed it. you can now upload avatars again

thank you, i knew that already. i just didnt want to have to ask elisnow to fix all 15 sigs that he has made for me. it will have to do for now. i may ask his to change just one or two.

When F_S Tried To Get 2.0 To Pick The Pic Off RF.Net It Still Said: "Invalid File". Just So JJ Knows.

It Worked, However, When F_S Uploaded From His Computer, But When Done It Gave The Message : "Upload Of File Failed". But It Didn't Fail. But That Was The Message..Again, Just So JJ Knows.
