a while back the screen on my sempron laptop broke
i bought a new computer that was mutch better than the laptop and built a frankenstien comp for like 300

now i need to sell the laptop but with the screen broken who would buy it?

I don't sell used computers anymore... I just pull the hard drives and chuck the rest.

I would possibly buy something like that. It is a good computer to run as a configurable router and firewall. you just run it is a headless terminal. it can also be used as a tester server or test machine. the best part is the built in UPS.

The screen is the most commonly broken and most expensive part to replace because of it. You won't get much money for a laptop with a broken screen.

Yea, my niece broke her screen a year ago.. Her lap was like 900 when she bought it.. The estimate for the screen was 750-800..

i also had a mother board go bad on me in a laptop, and it was 675 to replace on a 3+ year old laptop
