Corey Hart has a song called Third of June? Apparently?
And I recall a certain Casey likes Corey Hart?
Am I reaching too far maybe?

i hope i never learn of who Fat Sunny really is. it will be a let down.
Wow...I gotta admit that one went right over my head. All I could think of was "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" and the opening line "It was the 3rd of September."
Bobbie Gentry's "Ode To Billie Joe" is one of my favorite recordings of all time. It's got an eerie, haunting quality that instantly draws you in.
Good call, Fat!

I got stuck the place as Gvac. I got the 3rd of September stuck in my head, then just hit a dead end.

Also, it was 20 years ago today, Sgt Pepper taught the band to play.

On the third of June
Upon a mystic rune
I chant of flowers, blooming
through a roof of weeds,
and the seeds of time
do not heed the rhyme
but flicker down through the soil...

Fat Sunny is whoever you want him to be. He's nobody, and everybody.
