I'm sorry if this is a repost and I missed it.

I just read Ex-Machina #28 by friend of the show Brian K. Vaughan and the name "Bennington" is used as someone to call in case of a deputy mayor. Has anyone mentioned this before? The comic came out like 2 or 3 weeks ago so I figured someone would have noticed by now. Again sorry if this is a repost.

I think it was just a nod to "Razzle Dazzle", as said in the original board gossip into. Whether it was written by Dave or Steve, I don't know.

But that was a huge nod to the show - it was said twice on the show.

Dave has said on air he wrote the intro, including the razzle dazzle. The reading and inflection was Steve's.
