I believe it is illegal to send people unsolicited emails with out giving the option to opt out from future emails, and if they do choose to opt out, you have to honor that. This guy also hijacked other peoples computers, probably with viruses or spy ware, and used them with out consent to send out massive amounts of emails.

True. I almost never get any. Remember when AOL was giving cars and shit to people who reported spam? They'd get the cars from the spammers (I guess in law suits). We have two of those cars driving around my town all the time. Both of them are cute little sports cars with some sort of SPAMSUX license plate, or something like that.

this may be a good incidence but it sets a tone for the government to continue its war on free speech/the internet

do you really want the catholic right to control the internet like they control everything else?(FCC)

the day will come when the internet is highly regulated and watched by government agencies like what china has done. Its not that unrealistic and I'm not speaking crazy talk. The Christians openly want to have a say and the ability to control what goes on.
