Holy shit what a feast! Bacon wrapped filets, lobster tails, with sides of onions, potatoes with bacon, and baked beans all done on the grill. It was fantastic!

Grill up a pork tenderloin. Put some black pepper, sea salt, garlic, lil sprinkle of cumin on it and get it on some indirect heat for about 45 minutes and wah lah. Maybe a lil warm BBQ sauce near the end and you're in bidness.
I'm going for grilled chicken in a balsamic marinade and a salad. Ummm ummm good.

Most of the produce looked good today except the red leaf lettuce and their tomatoes. Yellow squash was not completely ripe yet but not bad. I have not seen any asian eggplant in my store though.

Just got home from Docks in the city.
Wifey had 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell, steamed king crab legs and key lime pie. I had 1/2 dozen clams on the half shell, roasted atlantic cod and chocolate ice cream. They had a $28 prix fixe that we took advantage of.
Oh, we also added a fried calamari app and some French Fried Yams to go with our entrees. Delicious.

I just had a huge Korean meal. It was absolutely delicious.
Kimchi (cabbage), cucumber kimchi, bean sprouts, egg with scallions, green squash marinated in some deliciousness, squid with vegetables in a delicious spicy sauce, and for an entree, octopus with vegetables and rice in a different delicious spicy sauce. I absolutely love Korean food now. I'm so glad I stopped being completely vegetarian to start eating fish/seafood again.
Now I'm happy and bloated.

I love my Weber kettle, but I'm a little jealous of anyone that has one of those Big Green Eggs! Those things are so versatile and stingy with fuel.

My neighbor brought over fresh tomatoes from her garden. Since my b/f was @ the yankee game and my daughter was @ her father's, i made myself a FABULOUS tomato sandwich w/ a fresh french baguette, miracle whip, my neighbor's tomatoes, oregano, pepper and light oil and vinegar....unbelievably delicious!!!!

I made a meat loaf & chive mashed potatoes recipe I found on Weight Watchers. 8 loved it (and no, he did not stick with the piddly little serving size they suggested), but I thought it could have been better.

Tailgating at the Giants game with my wife tonight. (Preseason...but it's gonna be too nice out not to get there early & grill).
The Menu:
cold pineapple salsa and tortilla chips
a few baby lamb rib chops (meat lollipops with salt pepper & sage)
grilled kebabs of spicy yogurt marinated chicken, peppers and onions in pitas with lettuce and chopped garden tomatos.
sauvignon blanc for the bride and a I think it's going to be a Paulaner Hefe-Weizen (or some other wheat beer...I'll see when I get to the store) night for me.

I was painting in the new house WAY later than anticipated, so the only place to grab a bite on the go up there is Dairy Queen, who closed their kitchen 15 minutes before we got there ... so of course we had Blizzards for dinner on the car ride home. I went with a coffee-Oreo. I felt like a child.
