I started out watching a bunch of drunk people play this game and thought it looked fun. Then I bought the game and I'm hooked, even though its the worse I've ever been at the beginning of a game. And now there's Guitar Hero nights at a bunch of bars all around Boston and New York City.

I went at least a week without playing, then nailed 5 stars on all Easy songs on Sunday. The low easy songs are boring when you're further into the game (I'm almost passed thru Medium), but some of the harder Easy songs are just fun.

I am ashamed to admit it, but I own "Karaoke Revolution" It comes with a microphone, and you have to match the note with your voice, there is a little meter that tells you if you are too high or too low.

Does Easy count towards Campaign score on the leaderboards? I beat hard, then medium, and decided I'd need easy to keep my score up before I finish expert, but it seems my career score is not going up?

Yeah. I tried moving up to Hard, but they throw the orange button at you at the same time that they throw a much faster speed at you.

if you have the xbox 360 version (because i never bought the ps2 version) it helps to practice... if you go into practice mode with a hard song or expert, if you go into practice and slowly increase the speed, you get better at your timing and what to expect


i downloaded one of the old guitar hero songs, the incubus one, and i can play that 98 percent on expert, and i suck at that game

Beat easy mode, was a nice surprise to find the encore songs to be unlocked in medium, up to the 5th group of songs on medium, but I've only hit 4 stars once (Mother) and no 5's I suck. I've only failed a song once since I've had the game though (Message in a Bottle) on medium.

Ummm....I'd just like to say for the record that I witnessed the awesomeness of Missy's GH playing skills. She would blow all of you away.

my review of the game "Guitar Hero Encore - Rock the 80's"

its just an expansion of the Guitar Hero 2 game....basically the same backgrounds with an 80's twist. I'm really into this game but I'm not with some of the songs....just a few of them actually fade out at the end of the song like on the album. This is suppose to be a live band, I was unaware that a live band fades the song volume down, but oh well.....


all in all, I love the song list....could've been better but its good the way it is.


9 outta 10 buttcracks on this game.
