back when I was a hardcore pothead, about once a year my buddies and I would decide it was a good idea to get stoned silly and go to OCB. Without fail an hour after our visit we'd all realize how horrible an idea it was and be fighting for the bathroom. We'd swear we'd never go there again, but eventually the munchies would get the better of us. Now, I can't even imagine going there sober.

I don't understand how these places even stay in business, much less how they seem to thrive. Long story, short: Coming home with the family, after a nice long day at Six Flags. Everyone's tired and hungry, so we decide to try it out. Everytime we pass it, there seems to be a line out the door. So, it must be good - right?

So, we go in and the place is packed. And the food: HOLY SHIT! With emphasis on the SHIT. But everyone else seems to be enjoying it. What the hell is wrong with people? (Cue Fat_Sunny and his comment that I'm some kind of an elitist.)

We have an Olive Garden and a Red Lobster within a half-mile of our house and it's the same thing there - lines out the door, every night. So we tried them out - worst Italian and worst seafood ever. Yet people seem to love it.

Tonight was/is bad. Barely made it home in time. Everyone in the family ran to a separate bathroom. I seem to have gotten it worst than everyone else because I'm still going. And here's my theory why:

Looking over the food I saw a tray that looked like little shit-balls. Ordinarily I would have kept walking but I read the sign: "Chicken Livers". I laughed a little inside because all I could hear in my head was: "Yeeaaahhhhh, my dad used to give us chicken livers." Well I never had chicken livers before, and I guarantee you I'll never have them again.

I love buffets, but there's a risk. When they wash the metal pans, they don't always drain all of the sanitizer during busy times. I've seen it happen at Shoney's before. They left some sanitizer in a pan, then put scrambled eggs in it. Everyone who ate the eggs had the same reaction you had.

No, This Is A QUALITY Issue And Not A Snob Issue. Fat Agrees With You 100%. He Ate There One Time And One Time Only And The Quality Of The Food Was 1 Level Above What You Could Pick Out of A Dumpster. No, Correct That: The Same Level.

But I bet you that all of these lazy, fat fuckers went home to their houses with the Christmas lights still hanging on them.

That Is Not The Case Where Fat Lives. There Are No Christmas Lights Still Out In This Neighborhood. Just 3 Or 4 Places With About 14 Rusted Cars In Their Back Yards!

My 83 year old uncle lives near the one in Yardley PA. He had 5 by-passes, 10 years later he had 4 more by-passes and he also has 13 stents to keep his arteries open. He and his wife, who has had 4 by-passes, eat there three times a week.

I take my 80 year old mother there three or four times a year to visit her brother. I usually concentrate on the salad bar but they made it very small recently (I guess no one was using it). Plenty of fried foods though. Most of their customers seem to like to eat, alot.
