Worst "chore"

Every day, twice a day, I scoop cat poop. That's really awful. I also really hate having to make my lunch (after I wash my hands, of course!). I make the *lamest* lunches-- raw veggies, cottage cheese, an apple. (Hey, I'm a chick!) What's the one "chore" you hate doing?

How about driving your 72 year old grandmother to upstate new york. Also if you go 1 or 2 mph above the speed limit she starts to freaking out on you saying your speeding. Its a big pain and i have to do it in 3 weeks :(

Since I am not yet finicially independent and I go to college, I would have to say the biggest chore here is writing papers. I know the answer is lame, but it's all I can think of. Cleaning the fish tank also sucks major ass.

It's not a daily or weekly chore, but I absolutely despise painting. I would rather scrub my shower and toilet, wash a stack of dishes, vacuum and mop the floors, and do 6 loads of laundry before I paint one small room.

I find it so annoying and boring that I can't understand how some people actually enjoy it. A buddy of mine loves it, and said he'd paint my place for a steak dinner and some beers.

Best deal I ever made.

I hated household chores growing up but as I got older they became just sort of a part of the flow of a normal day. But what I still fucking hate is outdoor work (leaves, mulching, trimming etc.), which is more monotonous and annoying than all indoor work and takes fucking hours. Fuck outdoor work.

You put paper towel on it, and you think you can get it all with one swipe, then just as you get it to the garbage a trough forms in the towel, and it runs down your fore arm.
That and changing lightbulbs.

i hate doing dishes so much, i bought a 'portable' dish washer for my apartment.

i still have to deal with pots and pans, but it's a great appliance. less than $200 at target.com.

of course, i'm still lazy, so i end up throwing a few days worth of dishes in the sink, instead of loading them in the dishwasher, but there's not much that can be done about that...

If I could get by doing only one chore for the rest of my life, it would be dishes. Dishes and I have a zen-like thing going on. It's easy to do, and you can spend the time thinking about other things or just veg. You can also zone out and listen to music, watch TV, etc. while you're doing it.

i love house painting. i think i need to pick that up as my new career since i can't find shit up here. it really relaxes me. i love picking out colors & i could spend all day concentrating on cleaning up the trim with a tiny tiny paintbrush.

i love to spackle too. i really have no idea where this came form. but i love it.

To me, painting is almost a party situation. Unless it's too big of job, or the outside of a house, though. I also love patching holes with spackle. Another one I love is replacing window panes. There's something soothing about glazing them just right.

As for a chore that I HATE, it's mopping. I can deal with doing a wet mop job on a large area, but I can't stand mopping my floors at home. I also hate cleaning mildew in showers.

i think i hate folding & putting away laundry. i don't mind doing laundry, it's trying to find places to put all my clothes that makes me the craziest.

same thing for doing the dishes. i don't mind washing them, but putting them away annoys me.
