Anybody remember this early 70s movie (I was thinking maybe I should post this in "Old School"!). A very young Jodie Foster starred in at as a girl whose father died and left her alone in a house with money to care for herself. Martin Sheen was in it, playing a kid toucher. I remember catching this on the "Late, Late Movie" on channel 7 years ago. It's really awesome. I tried to find it on video but it's out of print so it's uber expensive!

LOL, thanks Alice, for bringing this movie up.
I remember seeing it and how creepy it was. And it will be moved to "old school", where it belongs! ;)

Plot Summary for
Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane, The (1976)
Left an orphan, a brilliant Jewish girl in her early teens is determined to follow the careful plans her father made for her before he died: to become "very small in the world" in their house at the edge of town and grow up by herself, rather than surrender her fate to anyone else. When a dirty old man and various local busybodies begin to suspect that she is alone, she and her new boy friend must take drastic steps to preserve her independence.
