Thank you for listening to WJFK. I wanted to let you know that we are reviewing the situation. I also wanted to make you aware that Opie and Anthony do two radio shows... one for CBS Radio including WJFK, and a separate show for XM Satellite Radio. The segment you are referencing did NOT air on WJFK or CBS Radio in any way, shape, or form at any time. It was broadcast on the XM show. Again, I appreciate your feedback.

I don't think we're supposed to be sending emails to the CBS stations. The problem is with XM.(I believe Ant posted on wackbag that sending emails to CBS was just making it worse)

Supporting the show makes it worse? How?

since they are not fired, what is the purpose of the letters?

XM is behind them as far as I knew and CBS was taking a wait and see. We should check with our Pal Talk/FBA/Wackbag...where ever Anthony or HTG post. They should be the ones we take our lead from. They are a bit closer to the situation.

I never seen that there. Find it and show it to us. But I dont think it would hurt.

To even things out, and maybe prevent them from getting fired.

If all the stations hear is how much some people hate the show, then the people trying to get O&A fired might hold more sway. If its 50/50, then they figure they'll hold off on it.

Sorry. I must have read someone elses post.:wallbash:

Ant said that both companies were very supportive, and E-Lo is "the man".

This, also, from Ant:

Ummmm, don't you see FM had nothing to do with this. XM is the bigger issue here. Will the show have to be watered down on that side? We'll see.
The FM show is gonna remain unchanged. They already have safe guards in place.

Wow! John Mainelli does return his e-mails. Very cool of him.

JV & Elvis are truly lucky to have supporters like you. I will forward your e-mail to Elvis, who will also forward it to JV.

I also seriously appreciate your concern for them.

As you may know, all decisions regarding JV & Elvis were made at the corporate level.

-- John Mainelli (Program Director, WFNY)

Your opinions will be heard folks, if you take the time to let them be known.

**Breaking News: No More Emails To Cbs**
I just got word from several sources that have told me that CBS has gotten an overwhelming response and they have gotten the message. So we need to lay off the emails to CBS as continuing to harass them would do more harm then good.

But keep those emails to XM rolling.

I think BDC is right though it can't hurt that much to show the fm stations you support o and a. I think this was really directed towards the emailing the execs who got bombarded.
