Just go to the Pub and get some Bangers and Mash.

Seriously, I love British food. Sure it's not "Fancy" like the French cook, but it's more down to Earth. I liked it.

As far as that goes the 24 hour drinkinl law is a little overrated. Theres not many local pubs in the suburbs that open past 11 O'clcok., I could go into the city centre and drink my tits off (and I'm sure it would be brilliant) but I may aswell go to my local Tescos (your version of Walmart) and get me and my buddays a couple of crates.

That's what I did when I was over there. I even brought some Tesco beer home on the plane!

If its the same as in Germany, then they are actual crates, plastic crates of bottles. There's something really cool about buying beer in crates like that...

Me and my friends call that stuff "Literally Lager"

If you've seen the packaging you'll know what I mean.

Tonight my round at the Ole Red Lion pub just off the A64 between York and seacroft (my local) was a pint of Carling for myself an English lager with about a 4.9 percentage and for my friend a bottle of Newcastle Brown or Newkie Brown as it's know round'ere

http://blog.koehntopp.de/uploads/chili/10_newcastle_brown_ale.jpg

For the round it cost about £4.75 (about $9 i think) I spent around £60 tonight. Bank Holiday Sunday is known as a night when people let their hair down so instead of going out on Saturday they will save their selves for Sunday.

Traditionally Monday night is a big night aswell on a bank holiday but with it been nice weather we will be having a BBQ in my friends garden tomorrow. With a few crates naturally.

I feel ya, it's a lot like Pennsylvania. I live in New Jersey, but drive an hour west into the more country area, there' no such thing as a 24 hour store. They usually buy beer in large packs from stores that either just sell Beers or the other stores sell liquor and no beer. It's a different world out there.

Nothing wrong with getting a crate and some buddies together to chase the "No Bank Blues" away.

Yeah, I find other Fuller beers here, but not that one. I was thinking maybe it's one of those regional things you can only get in a certain area. Maybe you can only get it in the UK. For example, Shiner Bock is supposedly sold only in Texas:
