Were you a bedwetter?

Props to Eastside Dave admitting he was a bedwetter until 15 and admitting he still wets the bed twice a year(Maybe more).

I too was a bedwetter. off and on. Had major bedwetting spells in 3rd and 4th grade. then again in jr high until 10th grade. and then again in college for a year or two thanks to mt anxiety attacks and still have occassional wet beds.

I tried to call in to talk about the topic(would of been a cool topic) but the screener was pretty rude and said the topic was over and hung up on me.

I talked about bedwetting on Jv and Elvis about a year ago..was so funny they replayed the call the next morning to open thier show and who knows may wind up on a future best of.

so, was anyone else here a bedwetter?

I did until I was 7. Then my parents got me a diaper that would sense moisture and make a really loud noise to wake me up so I could stop and go to the toilet. Even then I was too deep a sleeper, but it would wake up my brother, who would yell at me to get my ass up. That did it for me.

not that i can ever remember but im sure it happened. i am a really light sleeper so i would always wake up when i had to go.

also, ive never pissed the bed after a black out night which suprises me. i had a friend in college who would piss the bed at least twice a week cause he was such a drunk.

I was lucky I never got beaten for it. I don't agree with that. bedwetting is a medical problem, not a behavioral isssue.

Diapers were never considered in my family, due to money reasons. I wish they had Goodnites when I was in Jr High.

As an adult it happend once. I was dreaming i had to piss and i was running to the bathroom and i was pissing...in the real life and the dream.

As a kid I never remember doing it.

1st of all the phone screeners deal with hundreds of calls each night, they weren't being rude to you they just have to make quick decisions all night and have to deal with each call in seconds. It's the nature of the beast. I've been told "we're done with that" and then been hung up on too but I don't take it personally. I just call in later or the next day.

2nd, I was lucky as a kid. This one didn't pop up for me which surprises me. I was a fairly nervous, jerky kid. I thought I'd have been pissing at the drop of a hat, but I don't think I ever pissed my bed, not even once. If I did, it was like once or twice my entire life and it was probably because I was very sick at the time, but I honesty can't even remember one bed pissing incident.

My oldest brother was sleeping on the top bunk. As he lay on his back, he pissed straight up. The pee travelled across the ceiling and dripped back down on his face. I've always loved that story. Mom said he woke up screaming in horror.

As for myself... I think I might have done it a time or two. I don't think it was ever an issue, so it must not have been that much.

i wet the bed until i was 11. I stil have sleeping issues. i don't wet the bed, but sometimes i sleepwalk. I've started to take a shower while sleepwalking a few times, then i jolt awake when the water hits me.

That sounds like it could have fucked you up permanently. An alarm diaper..what the fuck? I heard these guys had the same thing when they were younger.
