Although madden has an exclusive nfl lisence(and i think college football also) there is a 2k sports(sega sports) football game comming out with 250 retired nfl players that i think looks like a lot of fun.

Unfortunately i cant find video on ign.com or even 2k's web site

I dont play video games but this sounds like a great idea. Retired players make some money and people get to use their former favorite players. When I fist had that the NFL only licensed 1 video game now I thought that was bullshit. I know Madden (from what friends have told me and back in 95 or so when I played it) is the best football game. But you get no choices. Remember a couple of years ago when ESPN came out with $20 games? I heard those games were pretty good and I bet the other gaming companies hated and it and created this monopoly

This past Sunday, my son and I were playing Madden 07 and he beat me by a touchdown. Then I hooked up the old Intellivision and we played NFL Football - I whipped his fucking ass!!!!

i've actually stopped buying the madden games, last one i did buy was 04 since then i bought 2k5, and 2k6 for 20 bucks each

i like the game play much better than madden
