Yeah, but that's not really death. Bart came back and said that everyone is there living fine. Heck, Bart aged while in the Speed Force, so it certainly can't be death.

Ah. I only read trades and the Uncanny storyline hasn't been traded yet. But I recall Xavier only in flashbacks in Dark Genesis. Vulcan was attacking Scotty and the team because of what Xavier did.

Xavier appears in the second to last issue (on the last page I believe) and the last issue of Dark Genesis. It's revealed that he has been de-powered. The end shows the team turning its back on Xavier.
