I make it an effort to go at least 4 times a week. I mix it up with cardio and weights. Since im trying to tone down I use moderate weights and do 20 reps per set. I have recently started doing weights 1st, then doing 30 minutes on either the elliptical or bike. I do about 10 minutes just for the abs. I wish they would develop as quickly as triceps. Those take form quickly.
As far as supplements or anything like that I stay away from them. It seems like every other product out there is some form of weight loss pill or powder.

when I lived in Florida, I used to swim over a mile at least 5 times a week. Since I've moved to NC, I try to work out the same amount. I do the same as you...30 minutes of cardio, and weights (high reps). Can't wait to find a good pool to go swimming in again...
Probably a question for a new thread, but what's the etiquette on talking to a girl who's working out? Yes/no? There's a real hot girl who i've said hello to a few times, and we've exchanged smiles, but I didn't want to interrupt her work out to talk to her...

maybe try to plan it so as she's leaving the gym, you are also and try to strike up a conversation

My job is workout enough, it kills me. I'm an "industrial athlete" as management calls it. I eat about 5000 calories a day and still lose weight on some weeks.

i've been doing a monday-wednesday-friday schedule for years now.
for a while i did all 5 weekdays, lifting on 3 and running on 2 but that only lasted for about a year or less.
more recently i havent been making it on all 3 days because i get lazy and unmotivated.

I used to make it almost every day, but recently I've barely been going 3 days a week. I really don't like working out, and sine I've managed to get down to a decent weight, its really hard to motivate myself.

I go 4-5 nights a week, 45 minutes on the elliptical, than 30 minute circuit on weight machines. A few years ago I had a laminectomy and stopped working out and started really babying my back. It always felt fragile and hurt constantly. Since I restarted working out, it barely hurts. I think the best thing anyone can do as far as fitness is cardio.

My only exercise right now is ultimate frisbee which I do about 4 times a week. I also walk a couple miles a day going to classes and the liquor store.

I was really good for a long time - worked out 5 days a week religiously.
This winter I lost my edge and got really busy with *things* and have slacked off.
I also ate alot of garbage so I gained about 15lbs. UGH.
Feeling pretty bad about it lately and now that I am weaning off my iron lung I will be going back to working out 4-5 times a week so that I can get this disgusting fat off of my body. BLECH!

I am so lazy that I seem to have injured my back from sitting in my "gaming chair" for too long this weekend.
I have, however, started walking the equally as lazy dog up and down the street every morning, yelling "GO MAKE GO MAKE PLEASE GOD GO MAKE" for a grand total of about 15 minutes exercise a day. Go me.

3 - 6 times a week.
I finally cracked the 235# bench press weight but hit the ceiling so I am now switching it up with other stuff and cutting back on flat bench.
I usually go for 30 - 40 minutes during my lunch break 3 times a week and do weight training and then go back after work for 45 minutes of cardio 3 times a week.
If anyone wants new ideas for working out I recommend Crossfit (http://www.crossfit.com)as a good starting off location.
I've been going to the gym 6 days a week for a year now.
I lift 3 days and do cardio 3 days.
Lost 80 pounds so far. It's pretty sweet.
I don't have any problems with motivation. I've still got a lot of room for improvement.
