Is Andy Reid taking some of his sons shit??

1st he makes this Kolb guy look like Jamarcus Russel, then say its not about Macnabb..

Then he blatantly tampers by saying he would love to have Keyshawn.. Then realizes he did when they brought it up to him..

Funny shit.

I don't know what they were thinking with Kolb. If McNabb has a bad game or two, there's going to be fans who'll want the kid to come in, and I don't know how he'll handle that. You already have two solid back-ups in Feeley and Holcomb, so I really don't know what they're thinking. At least they got a domer with they're next pick, who was they're best defensive player last year.

I will agree that holcomb is solid but my team (dolphins) traded for feely and cut him after only starting a few games. He will be the one cut IMO. I think kolb is a pretty good QB. He needs to learn the NFL game and Mcnabb has been injured the past 4 years or so. I like the pick, but they took him too early. They should have taken a WR before a QB.

I feel bad for Mcnabb, they never get him any help at WR. This has been a very deep WR draft so far.

ugh. he was mostly a bust, but i hoped they'd give it one more chance with the new qb/coach combo before letting him go. hopefully he's washed up.

I was leaving for my bachelor party when the Giants made the 51st, and when Leonard was still on the board, I knew the Rams were gonna take him because they had a need. In a word, fuck.

So much for the Pats not wanting players with character issues.

If this goes through, the Jets 1st pick looks 100x better.

I find it hard to feel sorry for Brady Quinn. I mean I was pulling for him and I hope he does well in his career but enough of the hype.

I mean he's still going to be a millionare some day which is something probably 90% of the people he played with or against in college will never be.

So you didn't go #1 or #3 or #9 but you did get drafterd in the first round and are going to get paid to play the game you love. Oh and you'll only be 2 hours from home.

Deal with it.

Oh I'm not doubting the economic loss to him but lets not shed a tear.

It's not like he now has to send out his resume and start loking for a " real " job.

Let's face it he was probably over-rated and the hype machine set his hopes too high.

Going #22 overall isnt a bad thing even if you did think you'd go #3.

I alos hope that Miami takes it in the ass for their pic.

Nobody had Ginn rated that high. They better hope he pans out.

and in the 3rd he drafts a dt who people think is a back up at best..

You should be. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTh3DlLr20I)

He played as a true freshman at the sixth game of the season because he was 'just too good to not be playing.' He kinda reminds me of Zach Thomas--it doesn't show up in the measurables, but he can play football. He has this freakish closing speed in the open field, and can just get anyone in three steps and just doesn't miss tackles. During the bowl game when he tore his knee, he actually asked the doctors if it would do any more damage if he played on it. They told him no and he wanted to go back into the game! His helmet didn't fit right that whole season and he had a bloody nose at the end of every game. When asked about it, he said they would take care of it in the offseason.

The only team Moss said he'd restructure his contract for was the Patriots, so obviously he wants to come to NE and knows what he is getting in to. I think those character issues are gone.

They did draft a Oline guy.. Scoutin is not impressive.. But these "scouts" are wrong alot..
I do like The LB we drafted.. Good size Good speed.. Also That TE is athletic as hell.. And big.. Plus the Saftey they got, was projected to go 3rd round.. We got him 6th.. So I think We had a pretty good draft..

Fuckin Patriots...I hate that they are such a solid organization...
Moss for a 4th is a steal any way you cut it.. I bet it pans out big time. Bellidick will get that stupid ass to perform like the FREAK he used be. And if he acts up, he'll cut his ass, thats how he rolls. Too many professionals on that team for Moss to pull his shit. I cant see Bruski or Brady listening to his cornrows pout cuz he didnt get the ball, Aint gonna happen. 95 catches, 13 TD's 1,400yds. And thats not even mentioning the other Jerk offs they brought in...Donte Stallworth, the LB from Balt , Thomas (he's fucking sick!), and Wes Welker who just gets open and will also benefit from catching Brady's darts.

All this shit after the Jets put together a really nice draft. Drafting two dudes who will probably step in and start on opening day this year! As promising as my Jets squad looks...Barring an insane rash of injuries (see Yankee pitching staff) or a plane crash, Patriot fans can book their hotel rooms to wherever the F'in SuperBowl is this year.

I tip my hat, thats a solid Orginization.

This is the longest, half assed, underhanded compliment to a team ever written.!

also kiawanuka is being moved to linebacker

hope that turns out well

04-30-2007, 01:47 AM
Alot of fans up here wanted DeOssie primarily because he's thought of as a smart kid with good talent who will eventually make a difference. That and the fact his dad steve is a mainstay on the sports talk giant up here.

I like how the pats traded out, especially with a 1st next year for a 28 this year. Moss for a 4th (and he takes a massive pay cut?) how can you beat that (Just remembered that this also makes up for Oakland fleecing us with the whole Doug Gabriel fiasco). I'm expecting to see the rollout of a new 7 reciever set this year for the pats.

what a shitty pick. They must have known they were picking ginn all along , thats why they traded wes walker. Stupid b/c they wasted a 1st rounder and helped a team in their division that they have been chasing for years. The only good thing about the draft was getting John Beck. I thought he would be better the quinn and he fell to the 2nd round and they got luckyt to draft him. I actually hope they start him, he older (26) and more mature. Why wait and why waste a trade on Trent Green? Either go with the rookie or give cleo Lemon another shot. He looked pretty good last year.

No from what I read he was pretty happy in Miami. He was a top notch return specialist that was turnng into a pretty decent possesion receiver. He was great as a #3 and decent as #2 last year. I think he lead the team with receptions part of they ear. He said in a story I read after the trade "that he accepted it but was shocked"

I watched that on espn before and couldnt understand the move. He had a very good season, he could have had a few more td's but I think the qb had alot to do with that. I hope he signs on as a #2 wr. He has been a very good receiver. He will be a hall of famer. He already has the same #'s as Irvin and he has the ring. Carolina keeps making mistakes.

I don't even like Keyshawn but I thought he was a great fit for Carolina...odd decision, but without even reading the article I'm guessing it was a typical (and stupid) NFL contract where he was owed too much to make it worth bringing him back but the buyout was reasonable. He'll catch on somewhere, just as long as it isn't the Giants or the Bears I don't care.

espn took draft ratings from 9 sources and averaged them out (http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/story?id=2854030). interesting concept and it removes a lot of bias (dolphins and eagles each received BOTH an A and an F).
