Alright, I need a honeymoon destination and I know a lot of you guys are married so if you have a suggestion, I'd love to hear it. Somewhere cool but not expensive...don't even try to tell me about Hawaii or anything like that. Thanks.

1) Where are you flying from?
2) What's your budget.
Hawaii isn't that bad if you know where to look for a deal. I splurged on Hawaii, but I wanted fancy accomodations.
What time of year are you going?
What do you like to do?
I'm guessing you're in Texas, so why not Phoenix? Hiking, spas, great food, etc.

You can't go wrong with a cruise (http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/search/vacationSearchResult.do;jsessionid=0000b8IUOZtATWH shM5aDYLIEEo:10ktdmlju?promoType=&cruiseTourOnly=false&dest=ANY&duration=ANY&date=ANY&port=MSY&ship=ANY&selectedCurrencyCode=USD&price=ANY&x=90&y=4). (Just ask King Hippo)
That's what we did. And many cruises after that first one!

Hm. Do you happen to work next to a Hess station, across the street from a demolished strip mall?

Belize.
It's a hop skip and a jump from you, it's cheap (2 Belize dollars for every American dollar, and they take US cash) and it's beautiful. Hang out on the Northern Cayes, then head inland to check out the Mayan ruins.
Great Beer too.

BTW, I know a Bed&Breakfast in Maui that's brand new and it's 750 for the week. The downside is that the owners are gay, but...

If you're talking about the high school - good guess. But I live on the other side of Route 18. It's still East Brunswick but it's on the border of South River and Old Bridge.
Have we completely high-jacked this thread? When is there going to be a Middlesex County Bar Night?

I only got about 2000 to spend so I don't think I can go to Europe, even though I would love to . I've never thought of a cruise as romantic...or cool but I don't know anything about them. Can I get a good cruise for 1 or 2 thousand?

Under a grand? When did you go? Is it even possible to get two plane tickets now for less than $1k?

The Exchange Rate Is The WORST Now That It Has EVER Been. The US Dollar Is Worth 40% Less Than It Was 5 Years Ago. It Is NOT A Good Time To Go To Europe.
Besides, Europe Is Filled With Euro-Trash. Except For England, Ireland And Italy.

IMO cruises are the best vacation (next to going to vegas with the boys)
After flying my whole life for work and play I am now affraid to fly. I havent flown in 8 years. So now I cruise and love it. Everything is included excpet drinks, the food is great, no flying needed, great destinations, shows, casinos, ton of things to do on a cruise and like hippo said they are very romantic.
I have been thinking of even doing one of those cold wheather cruises from NY/NJ to Canada. Reading up on it looks really nice the cruise goes through mass, maine and then novascotia.
I would like to go to puerto rico from NY but havent looked lately. Any info hippo?

We're Disney freaks. We got married in Disney, the whole 9 yards, Disney wedding, all that jazz. Then we stayed in disney for like 2 weeks in our Disney timeshare. Then we went on a Disney cruise for a week. Then we stayed at Vero Beach at Disney's timeshare there. Had the BEST time there, just relaxed on the beach, it was awesome. Then we went back to Disney since we are freaks.
This summer we're doing a Mediteranean to Spain, Italy and France on a............guess.............Disney cruise!
