I kept thinking I should start a Card thread, but figured I would be the only person posting in it. Well The Brewer's and NATIONALS have threads, then the defending world champions of the world should have one too (even if I'm just posting to myself).

Slow start (WS hangover). Kip Wells shelled last night against the Reds after the torrent of rain ended.

Tonight a 7:10 start B. Arroyo 0-2 3.25 vs B. (surprise) Looper 3-1 2.08.

Lets hope the looper bubble doesn't break.

With duncan and pujols the only people hitting, kip wells a part of your starting rotation, and a shaky bullpen the cards are in major trouble. No one in the central feels the least bit bad for them though.

Yeah, i hear ya. The whole team has yet to wake up. These stats are rough for pretty much the whole team, and the pitching isnt much better. Only the kid Duncan, is hitting. It has to turn around eventually, right?

Good luck with the DUI defense Tony, RIP Hancock, feel better Carpenter, Mulder, Edmonds, Rolen, Encarnacion, Molina, Kennedy, Duncan, and any of you other oft-injured Cardinals i may be leaving out. It's been, well, uh, it's over at least.

Putting this post under this thread because it's the most closely related one that came up in a search for " Spezio ".

I never realized what a mess this guy was.

The thing I don't understand about the January 2008 issue was how he got charged w/ driving over the legal limit if they never arrested him and/or gave him a breathalizer/blood test.
