Al Leong.
You all know him. Long before I knew his real name, the man would show up in every other movie I saw in the 80's and it always fun to point him out again.
Most famously, the Nestle Crunch eating terrorist in Die Hard:

Actually, when I think of Al Leong, I think of his role as Endo in Lethal Weapon, the man who forgot more about torture than you'll ever know.

He would always be in tv shows like the A-Team, too. My brother and I used to call him The Chinese Guy.

Tom Selleck. He wore the tigers hat in Hawaii, Detroit pride. T.C, Higgins, and Rick helped make his star shine bright.

How abouts John Cusak..He pumped out some classics in the 80's...Just look
He first became famous in the mid-1980s for appearing in teen movies such as Better Off Dead, The Sure Thing and One Crazy Summer. His biggest success in that genre is arguably his starring role as Lloyd Dobler in Cameron Crowe's Say Anything.
Llyod, lloyd, he's null and void...lol great scene from Say Anything when his buddys are rapping at the quickie mart...
CUSAK RULES!

i'd probably go with cusack, but his career has gone on after the 80s. since we're only going 80s actors, it's gotta be anthony michael hall. (unless you mean actor in that male actor/female actor sense, in which case it would go to molly ringwald, hands down)

I would go with Judd Nelson. He was great in Billionaire Boys Club and Fandango.

Getting away from the cheese genre...the answer is simple. John Candy
(All in the 80's)
Blues Brothers
Stripes
Vacation
Splash
Brewsters Millions
Summer Rental
Volunteers
Armed and Dangerous
Little Shop of Horrors
Spaceballs
Planes, Trains & Automobiles
The Great Outdoors
Hot to Trot
Whos Harry Crumb
Uncle Buck
Maybe he's disqualified because he had some success in the 90's...but outside of JFK and Cabadian Bacon it was bleak.

That is quite a list.
I didn't even think of him.
I think I shall have to change my opinion.
Candy was the best.

it was the link you were using was incorrect. you needed to use:
http://boifromtroy.com/archives/pee-wee-herman.jpg
not:
http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:7Xx6InR-lFd0dM:http://boifromtroy.com/archives/pee-wee-herman.jpg
basically, you needed to use the 2nd part of the url you used.

Is that the prop on the picture??
no, the property of the pic you used was hhtp....http.... i'm no expert, but it was one page that then referred to a 2nd page. i just deleted the first part and tested it. not only was it the pic, but it was also a larger version. the 2 part url confused the system in some way.
