Me and Friday went to the show in Vegas this past Saturday, awesome night and we got to meet everyone after the show at the meet and greet autograph session. Vos made fun of my baldness. I need a tan.

Last year was beyond insane... a COMPLETELY different scene from this years Virus at The Joint in Las Vegas.

I wanted to go and I could have had great presale seats but I couldnt find anyone to go with and not only that but I didnt think they were going to be that high. Although it will be alot of comedians on the bill. I only work part-time and $80.00 is a little steep for me. I might do lawn if I can find someone to go with. If anyone is going, just be careful with the beers in the parking lot. They have cops come around and they do bust balls. Make sure you have a nice plastic cup to pour the beers into. Also they do not sell any alcohol in the venue. At least they don't when a concert is their. Which is odd, the show is sponsored by BUD LIGHT.

Everything from Hamburg is a haul. 50,000 miles on my car in a year in a half. I'm about an hour from the city so its not too bad. I havent seen a haunted cafe but they did have some silly castle place that was open until recently.

If anyone was thinking of going solo and doesn't yet have a ticket, I am stuck with an extra. I was supposed to go with my brother and another friend, but the friend bailed out. It's a very good seat (sec 7R, Row M, Seat 3). The ticket face value is 40.00, but I'll give it up for 20.00. If anyone is interested send a PM and we can make arrangements to meet at the entrance.

If my husband doesn't have a show that night, we're going to the PNC show in August. We had tix for last year's show, but couldn't make it.

I just got back, and I gotta say it was a great show. Anyone else go?
All the acts were terrific except Caliendo. I just can't see him doing 15-20 mins. He was doing the same Madden jokes that he did on O&A in 1999.

Here's how I thought they did in order of preference:

1. Jimmy Norton (Fucking hilarious!)
2. Bob Sagat (Dave Coulier shaves his balls!)
3. Louis CK (even with a couple of unruly people in the back he worked it like a champ)
4. Rich Vos (killer as the M.C.)
5. Patrice O'Neal (hard to put him 5th but the others were that good)
6. Otto & George (what a filthy little puppet)
7. Bob Kelly (excellent lead-off man)
8. Stephen Lynch (Makes Valby look like a hack)
9. Frank Caliendo (Stick to Mad TV, where you have others writing with you)

All-In-All it was a hell of a show (even though there was a couple of minor technical glitches, and some unruly assholes during Louis' set that were quickly dealt with). The filler videos were great. If you didn't get to see it tonight, and they're gonna be in your neck of the woods I highly recommend going. I enjoyed this year's show more than last year's. Probably because I was sober this time and could follow the action a little better.

they showed an animation of the dance, but no actual video or live action. the sets all seemed similar in length, but lynch's seemed shorter. he was the closer and they basically ran out of time. my faves were louis ck, norton, lynch and otto/george. saget is really funny, but the vast majority of his set was the same as last year. norton and louis seem to be getting better at stand-up day-by-day. can't wait to see jimmy's hbo special.
