ive wanted one so bad since before i bought my car 2 cars ago... im still thinking about it. i'd have to get i think its called the dream cruiser, with the 2.4 turbo, drug dealer blue, brown leather, and the pool ball shifter with in dash navi...
but
ill probably end up buying a mustang or a 350 before the end of the year, just because they scream @ me much louder than the pt.
figure when i finally trick a woman into marrying me, i can buy one for her and our demon spawn.
but.. pt cool car. when are you going to let me drive it =-D

Since the break failure incident in my last new car, i have lasting injuries that i can't stoop to get into low cars anymore. I would have gotten a Z350...... While at the Chrysler dealship, i took used Prowler out...... i'm going to miss my doom mobiles.
I already threw my box with 2 12's in, addition to the already there Boston Acoustic's. Boston acoustic's is a joke, but my subs make up for it. I had to carry on my tradition of changing out the shift knob to a skull, and i ordered the skull door lock pins and cigarette lighter. I don't think i'm going to skullcessorize the outside because i'm parking at a gov't site now and....well..... whatever. I'm still thinking about getting the chrome front and rear bumpers and throwing those on, but the package i got had the chrome grille, siding, kick plates and fuel tank already.

i've actually never heard of a woman who likes the pt, so it's odd to say it's a mom car. oddly similar to the chevvy hhr, in my opinion.

The PT is great. I always loved them and was inches away from buying a convertible one last fall.
Enjoy.

I rented a car last year for a long trip and Enterprise set me up with a PT Cruiser. I was skeptical at first but I ended up loving the car. They're great rides - enjoy!

We bought one back in January, Liz uses it for her 40+ mile drive to work everyday. We both love it, I like driving it a lot more than my truck sometimes.
It's kind of a "mom" car, but it's a fun mom car.

its not a mom's car if you accessorize it properly (2.4 turbo, leather seats, pool ball shifter, 17" chrome rims, spoiler...)
mine looks like this but its "Midnight Blue" .....

Personally, I think the H2 and any minivan is more of a Mom Car than a PT.
I think a PT is more of MILF car.

should have gotten a HHR....more roomier and gas mileage is excellent. The fully loaded models have some nice shit on it.....and I should know, not only do I own one, but I also work for a Chevrolet Dealership!

Driver side legroom is in no way, shape, or form better than the PT. I'm 6'3-6'4 and, I had a much easier time driving the PT than the HHR.

I liked these cars alot until a client of mine bought one--he's a 75 year old man. Now I think of them as being an old people car.

I think the same thing about Buicks. Even with Tiger as their lead spokesmen, just screams "retiree who can't afford a caddy".

I will agree with you on that one....the dash is closer to the steering wheel on the HHR....but the PT Snoozer just looks all condensed while the HHR is longer and old school lookin....

i rented a hhr once and HATED the sight-lines in it. miniature rear windows...very unsafe to me. if you're one of those crappy drivers who don't look, fine. ugh.
no offense or anything. :)

OK FUCK, THE HHR SUCKS!!! jeez...i just wanted to someone to agree with me that the HHR was a good vehicle...........
as far as the vision, it doesnt bother me....never been in an accident. Im a former racecar driver so I'm use to the restricted vision and tight spaces....its like home everytime I get in my HHR.

I had a PT Cruiser for two years but the low clearance kept me off the forest service roads.
So I traded it in for this:

Wimmer? naw...but i have found myself upside down in a ditch after a night of drinking....
about the bowtie/dodge driver avatar thingy, GM pays me...doesnt mean I support them. Also, I get such a deal for on purchasing a GM product that I would be stupid not to buy from them.

HHR was not my cup of tea. PT Cruiser looked like a hotrod in my head (once i get done with it) The HHR reminds me of the stationwagons and beachmobiles you see in surf related movies. A friend of mine swears by the HHR and curses the Cruiser. I like my cruiser, it suits me.
