I had a dog a few years ago that was 16 years old......her name was Annie....she was a cute beagle.....I had to put her down.....so a few months later....I went to Northshore Animal League and got another dog.......she had cancer surgery last week and I took her home...she is failing fast......I let her sleep with me last night.....tomorrow.....I have to take her back to the Vet to put her down...I feel like shit

Sorry Reesh....My dog of 15 years died a year or so ago...its never easy.

never had to put a dog to sleep but i had to give one up when i was 10 because i had allergies

sorry reeshy, 10 years ago this month my ger shep Bix died suddenly, and i'm looking at his collar right now next to my computer and he was a big part of my life. sorry man

Well, it's a matter of taste. I guess the movie joke fell flat.
But seriously, very sorry about your dog Reeshy. Dealing with sick pets can be just as hard as dealing with sick family members.

It's funny how pets sneak into your lives.....when you first get them ....they are a pain in ass....then you get used to them and they get used to to you.....I had a dog once that would come into the bedroom to wake me up.....by licking my face...everyday at 6 am....never failed!!!!! His name was Bucky!!!!

She died about an hour and a half ago....I have her wrapped up in her favorite blanket....I'll take her to the vet's in morning' to arraign for a burial

I took my dog to the vet's this morning.........he arraigned for the burial.........I spent some time with with and then left!

Such tragedy to befall onto ones life as to be faced with having to bury a pet. How old was said pet? How long was the blessed creature in your care?
