Super Paper Mario Wii

I have to say nintendo out did themselves again....this game is soo fucking great.. I can play for hours. Mario hypnotyses me.Has anyone else had the pleasure to play yet? If so lets share some tips.

Yes it came out yesterday.. you have to get it if you are a Mario fan I never played it on the gamecube...but it is fantastic

The back is English, French & Spanish, but the front is English...Once you get past the long story in the begining its a go..Its like 20 min before the game actually starts. let me know how you do. I am on chapter 2-3 right now...I have 3 pixies & I can switch back from Peach & Mario.

I am seething with jealousy. I can't wait to get this game. I can't decide whether to grab Wario Ware Smooth Moves and Super Paper Mario or GHII for the 360.

wario is good, but i find it just meh. i love GH2 but i finished it so soon... dunno about replayability. im going to grab another guitar see about rocking 2 players

i started super paper mario. its neat. kinda takes a lil to get used to , but like the mario rpgs. great still.


my advice get paper mario.. also the GH2 guitars some of them have issues and apparently you really cant find them in the store right now.

I found a guide on-line to help me thru some of the ruff spots...Cause I could not get out of Meerlees castle I was going nuts..that code was killing me..so If any1 wants to cheat just pm me & I will pass it on..

I bought a WII for Zelda and ended up playing Paper Mario more than Zelda. Its strangly addicting and you cant beat the paranoia the characters seem to have about someone watching them from another dimension that knows what pressing "A" means.

They fixed the GH Whammy bar issue w/ a patch last week. I plan on picking up paper mario later this week

I picked up super paper mario this weekend. I am about 2.5 hours in. I am totally diggin' it. Visually it is just really awesome.

im like 3 and a half hours in its pretty good, what i wouldnt give for a HUGE version of new super mario brothers. (was a great game) but i yearn for a day where another super mario brothers 3 comes out... im sure well never get it, ive seen videos of super mario galaxy and i am NOT impressed. anyone remember mario sunshine..ecch.

btw.. its been reported that the GH2 patch is bricking some xbox's so far no problems with mine, but be warned.

What is a GH2 patch? I am into the space chapter 4-4 I just beat MR.L now I have to beat him in a helmet. I love the way the game tells you how long you have played it for I am up to 10 Hrs..but I get lost in this game I could be playing for 2 hrs & it feels like 10 min...

its an update over xbox live that allegedly fixes the whammy bar issues. i have a launch day system and she's still kicking! that being said i dont know anyone who's actually had the issue with the update to the game bricking the system.

i havent played paper mario in a few days, its neat, but i just dont have the time!

I am in chapter 2-3 (I think) where Mimi has just become that big assed spider and I can't figure out the way to beat it. I used the pixls but they said that my attacks won't work I have to find Merlee and use her magic. I am assuming that has something to do with the room numbers (why else would it tell you the room number you're in, no?), but I can't figure out how to get from room 1 to 2. I hate to cheat or ask for help, but i've been there for like 2 hours and I guess I am just having a brain fart. I've tried using Peach and Mario and flipping in every room, what am I missing??

You have to flip into 3-D and use Tippi to find a hidden staircase then go into the women's room to find Merlee...

this game rocks!

Right now i am trying to beat the "Pit Of 100 Trails" You have to go thru 100 doors killing all enemys in your wrath then killing the boss in room 100... It is tough cause you run out of saves I made it only 1nce. I keep trying tho 9i will let you know when i finish it...If you defeat the boss you get a new Pixl named Dashel it makes you quick.

I finally picked this up. I had some concerns that it wasn't the type of game for me (I'll admit that the extra long intro and the first mention of "hit points" didn't alleviate those concerns), I've only played about an hour, but so far, it's really fun. It's a cool melding of the Super Mario platforming games and adventure games and the ability to go 3-D is pretty cool.

Mikey wait till you get the others & can switch them. Browser by far would be the best if he could flip.. Luigi has super jump which is pretty cool but if he smashes into something he turns to paper on the way down..

I decided to rent this one. I played through Super Mario RPG on SNES and was expecting something similar to that. It's fun though, and the melding of 2D and 3D is really cool, but I always feel like I should be doing something else when I'm "reading" videogames.

I'm nearly done. I'm up to Chapter 8-4. Unfortunately, I completely shit the bed when fighting Dimentio at the end of 8-3, so I end up starting Chapter 8-4 with 1 HP and no items to increase it. I'v figured out how to quickly get to the mushrooms at the beginning of the level and found an ultra shake further in, but I can't seem to make it to the final battle. I'm taking a break before trying again. It's a great game. I'm surprised I've made it this far. My gaming attention span usually isn't so great.

What you need to do is buy some points @ the store the gold medals are worth 10,000 points which will help you level up. I played the pits of 100 trials, so I am on like level 30 I have 145 HP, which does not last that long while in the pits, because some deal with lots of damage. I think I got everything out of this game & I still go back for more.

I was really getting into playing this game, but if my three-year-old daughter is around, she insists that I only use Princess Peach. Whenever I use Mario or Luigi, she yells "No! Princess Peach! Princess Peach!" This really ratchets up the difficulty level of the game.

See I always play with Mario cause i like the flip, Peach is cool too I just hate when she walks you hear her heals clacking that gets on my nerves, but her umbrella is awsome. If she ducks down nothing can hurt her. I play with browser only when I have to kill alout cause his fire breathing is the bomb, but he is soooo slow & hard to move around. Do you have all the PIXELS yet?

No, I think I only have the first three pixels. I haven't played in a while. I don't have Bowser yet either. I kinda have a problem where I get obsessed over games like this and I'll play for several hours at a time. Since I pretty much have to wait until my daughter goes to bed to play, I end up playing until 2:00 in the morning. Makes it hard to get up at 5:00 for work. Also, since the Cubs have come back to life, I find myself watching baseball games almost every night.
