As a Patriots' fan, I couldn't be more pleased with this year's schedule. And to now start working on getting Pats/Chargers tickets.

That is cool, but the Sunday night games are now the Nationally televised games and are more prominent then the ESPN monday night games (especially now that they have the option to change the sunday night games to the better matchup)

I've got a question that maybe one of you smart-guys can answer. The Giants are scheduled to host the Redskins on December 16th at 8:15 pm, which is a Sunday night. Are they not doing the flex-schedule this year? If so, then lets say that theoretically both the Giants and Redskins have a losing record (not that theoretical I guess) does this mean the game gets rescheduled to earlier in the day and they pick another game for Sunday night? I thought that last year they didn't announce the second half of the Sunday night schedule this early.

Apparently, those are the "potential" games. NFL.com says it's subject to change.

Well that just sucks hard. It really is unfair to the paying fan. Last year it was very difficult to make any sort of plans in advance towards the end of the season because you just didn't know if the Giants were going to be playing at 1:00, 4:00 or 8:00. Meh, what are you gonna do?

I am pretty sure that the NFL flex scheduling does not start until after week 10. The games scheduled until then will be played at 8:30

Exactly right. It's only implemented late to protect against worthless, boring games. Hence you may have one bc it includes PapaBear's horrible Redskins.
