I still can't figure that one out. Niedermeyer got a 5 minute major and a game misconduct; Pronger received no penalty on the play, and yet he gets suspended.

It was a vicious hit and I'm glad somebody got suspended, but I don't think 1 game is enough.

Simple- the refs missed the call. They saw Niedermeyer take three strides before laying the hit and tossed him, while it was Pronger who led with the elbow driving his head into the glass. That is just ugly, brutal, goon hockey. He should have gotten more than 1 game.

Ottawa and Anaheim play very similar physical games- punishing players on the boards, separating players from the puck and forcing mistakes.

I think Ottawa looks very similar to what Buffalo looked like in their series- physically intimidated. They are turning the puck over with bad, hurried passes, taking stupid penalties, dumping the puck into open ice and generally look uncomfortable with the puck. They have the same confounded look on their faces that my boys had. Clearly, Buffalo couldn't find the answer. Let's see what Ottawa digs up.
