he return of Rambo
Sylvester Stallone, 55, plans to reactivate his second most famous movie role, that of former Green Beret John Rambo, and give him a contemporary twist, London's Sunday Times reports.
The Rocky star, whose box-office performances have been rocky of late, is currently at work in his Miami home on the script for a fourth Rambo adventure with an eye to a release next year, says the Times.
In the new story, Rambo parachutes into Afghanistan to battle leaders of the Taliban. A possible storyline would involve the pumped-up hero with the oiled chest capturing terror chief Osama bin Laden alive.
It would not mark the first time that Stallone's creation has gone marching with guns blazing into Afghanistan. (The Rambo series kicked off in 1982, with First Blood) In the last outing, Rambo III (1988), the character went behind Soviet battle lines to rescue his former superior.
Earlier this year, Stallone said he had mixed feelings about coming back 13 years later for one more Rambo outing. "I don't know if I'd look good in a thong anymore," he told an interviewer. "In my fantasies, I'd love to do one more, but I don't think it would be in good taste at this age."
Last March, Bob Weinstein, of Miramax Films, said that he hoped to convince Stallone to do one more Rambo movie. "We'd love nothing more than for Stallone to be involved," said the studio chief. "We think it's a billion-dollar property." Tuesday 13 November, 2001 15:00 AEST

If you really wanna reach here. Rambo fights the Soviet soldiers in Afghanistan, during the same time as the Afghanie - Soviet war which was largly funded by Usama-Al bin Laden. Soooo...was Rambo helping bin Laden out? Sounds a little shady.
...I tell you what I'd do man, two chicks at the same time man. Damn straight, I always wanted to do that, and I think if I was a millionaire I could hook that up too, 'cuz chicks dig a dude with money...well, the type a chick that'll double up on a dude like me do.

For some reason I imagine that being just like Lancelot saving Sir Galahad.

This is just too much. Rocky Balboa wasn't satisfying enough, I guess.
