I hope HK doesnt mind me putting my 2cents in here but, I think the reason why Carson Daly is so popular is the whole big brother aspect with him. I think the girls see him as big brother and that's why he is so over with them. Of course HK is much more knowlegable than I and may have a better explination.

SKULLCRUSH - Carson Daly, eh? Well, the way I see it, people confuse him with the "Daily Show" on Comedy Central hosted by the very popular John Stewart. One of the women's magazine named him one of the top 10 sexiest men alive. No doubt Carson Daly is feeding off of that.
