myspace got phished

i'll bet phishead is behind it too.

if anyone gets dodgy bulletins from me (dodgier than usual) its not from me..see?

anybody know what to do when this happens? it says change yer password but wont let me in to 'account settings'. do i email myspace or somethin?

Immediately try to retrieve your password. If you're lucky, you'll get it via e-mail. Log in with the new password and change it immediately. If whoever hacked it changed the e-mail address for the account, you won't be able to retrieve your password.

Your next step if you can't get in will be to contact MySpace. You're going to have to send them a picture of yourself holding a piece of paper with the myspace address so they know that it's you. Unfortunately, myspace is somewhat slow to make things happen. Even with some contacts within MySpace, it took me close to a week to get the R&F page back when it got hacked.
