Mr Universe was arrested, they thought he was drunk but he was having a diabetic attack from low blood sugar. After the police made the mistake they still pressed charges. Shouldnt they just drop the charges? My father was a diabetic and whenever he tried knew meds and or had low blood sugar he would get loopy and say and do things that a normal person wouldnt.

Ultimately, the question is whether the diabetic attack took away any conscious intent to resist arrest and commit assault on the cops. I'm not certain whether or not it does. Both sides would probably have physcians testifying as to argument.
