Mets have no pitching. Their chance of winning the WS is zero.

Exactly. However I'll continue to be a homer an insist that my Brewers are going to win the World Series.

The Mets will get Pedro back and are going to try to make a trade If Pedro is fresh and healthy, having him on a lot of rest would be scary. Plus the national league sucks. They have the best offense and can win tight games as well.

Mets over the Angels

Hey my nashville sound are the AAA farm team for your Brewers. Brewers should be good.

The Mets don't even deserve to be in the poll...no pitching at all on that team.

They're going to fall hard this year.

The Tigers will probably win the World Series.

No, they're right. The Mets have no chance this year. I can't wait for football season.

Hey I wasn't touting the Phils chances by saying that...I'm just saying it would be very surprising to see the Mets hanging around down the stretch.

How can anybody reconcile their pitching problems at this point?

nah i was just poking fun

the phillies have a better staff on paper and the mets look sketchy all around
i mean we're counting on 2 40+ yr olds as our front 2 and an inconsistent perez, and who knows what we can expect from maine and pelfrey ??

only solace is that the NL is weak and besides the good staffs in LA, philly, and san diego we wont have to worry too much

I do feel really strong about the Brewers beyond my complete homerism with the team.

They've got really solid pitching. With a healthy Ben Sheets they've got a really solid rotation. The bullpen is good and could be lights out. Turnbow & Cordero can be really dominant at times.

Their lineup is solid, but the only position I don't like is 3B. Corey Koskie looks like he isn't going to recover from post-concussion syndrome. That leaves them with a platoon of Tony Graffinino/Craig Counsell until super-prospect Ryan Braun learns to play some defense in AAA.

I would be shocked if they don't win at least 85.

someone explain to me how the mets pitching is so much worse than last year and that thats the reason the mets are not making the playoffs. are you serious? they cut that anchor trachsel, and until maine and perez show that they cant pitch (for evidence that they can handle it, see last years playoffs, particularly game 7 NLCS), their offense is going to win games for them. so they have ERAs over 4. that lineup is going to score 5,6 runs pretty often. and dont tell me the phillies have such a great staff. Brett myers? Adam eaton? Zack segovia? are you for real? beyond cole hamels, they dont have anything to gawk about. they even have their own resident senior citizen in jamie moyer. beyond howard/utley/rollins, their lineup is garbage. so all you haters who just want to see the mets fail, youre going to be sorely disappointed.

WHERE BROOKLYN AT?!?!?

Philly wins east
Brewers win central
Dodger win West
Mets Wild Card

7 game series between Mets and Philly for NLCS Philly pulls it out in 7

Red Sox win East
Det win Central
Angels win West
Wild Card Clev

Red Sox play Angels for ALCS Sox win in 5

Red Sox vs Phillies in World Series
Tough game but Sox have talent at pitching, defense and the bats.
Red Sox win.

Notes:
Yanks have a good season but pitching and a tough divisin with a better toronto, Balt, TB and sox they just miss playoffs.

Stl drops big based on pitching.

Brewers and Indians will be big surprises this year. Both have a ton of offensive talent. Brews have a really good pitching staff that gives them the division.

Florida will have a good year.

KC, Wash will be disasters.

ya forgot about freddy garcia in the phils rotation
and the mets huge lead that they built up early and never relinquished was due in part to pedro starting off 6-0 , and the mets winning 14 of glavine's first 17 starts

this year we might not have that kinda production although it looked good last night in st louis

Hasn't Ryan Howard played like shit all spring. I know it isn't a huge barometer, but they moved Utley behind him the other day in hopes that he would hit. If Howard sucks, the Phillies have no shot.
