Since most media in this country is made in california(la) and even media made in nyc lacks that traditional ny accent i contest that evryone else has a weird accent other then people from california.

I agree I am from Michigan and know I have an accent, but the people from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan speak horribly. They are all really like that horrible movie Escanaba in da Moonlight. The people on television have no accent I can discern. But Californians do speak strangely I think.

Well, first, just what is the prize for this contest. Then tell us the rules and THEN we'll tell you if we're with ya or not.

PS-Midwesterners are accent-void, that's why they make good news casters. I myself was born + raised in TN but I have no detectable twangy accent at all. I think it is because we come from British Royalty. And, like Gvac, my poop smells like roses.

I think everyone has an accent its just a matter of what people detect. I have trouble with Canadians sometimes until they say EHHH. Which comes at the end of the first sentence, don't ya know.
