I feel like an idiot for not being able to figure this out, but I need help.
There is this incredible map locate here. (http://intl.local.live.com/)
I cannot figure out how to make it work! Its suppose to be better than Google Earth and nothing to download.
Can anyone tell me how? I tried imputting an address, tried every way I can think of, but cant seem to get it to do anything.
Thanks. If you figure it out, please post a desription of what you did. Thanks again!

I don't see how this is better than google. You just type what you're looking for, ie pizza, and a city to search in. I'm not sure if you can use it to map out addresses.

i wonder if they will pick the name that Regina submitted for this months ago. it was one of my suggestions, HONEY, and it was one of the final names (one out of 100).

I found really good pics of my house but lo-res areas don't exist at all on there.
The aerial pictures there are at least 10 years old.
At least in my area.

I figured it out. At work the net comes over Netscape, and Live Local is a Microsoft thing. At home it comes up fine. I love the multi angles that it has, so in that way it has a leg up for me as far as Google Earth is concerned.

How is it better than GE? With GE you can get any view you want and it's much faster. And it's not that big of a program.

GE allows you to view the same image, and you can change direction of view of that image only. This one allows you to see 4 different sides of the image. It is different. Sure GE is cooler, as far as zooming in from space and all that and the fly over feature and the 3D buildings and stuff, but for what I use it for, the extra views from different sides help tremendously. I will still use both.
