ever have a crush when you were a kid? who was it? did you ever tell them? what happened? ever met up with them now?
Mine was Karen (i will leave out the last name). she was cute, blonde hair and blue eyes. she was petite and had big hair (it was the 80's, not staten island). i had a huge crush on her and would do the lame walking past where she worked and stop in to chat. Recently she got in touch with me. she told me that she had a crush on me too then but never said anything. She is divorced, has three kids and is a huge mess. time was not kind.
(mind you, i wanted to talk about this on the upcoming show, but she told me that she listens) :wallbash:

I had a crush on a 1/2 Puerto Rican and 1/2 black chick named LaKeisha in my class back in junior high. She had a nice little body, great ass, and beautiful eyes. I did manage to get her number, but I was awkward then and asked her out and got shot down. I saw her at my high school graduation, but didn't get a chance to talk to her. I'd like her to see me now (a whole 3 yrs later) since I'm a different person now.

1st day of 1st grade a massive crush fell on to me and ruined my entire elementary school experience. All eight grades. She never gave me the time. I wished I was dumber.

I got another one. In 9th grade there was this girl in 12th grade that I had a huge crush on. Her little sister who was 2 yrs younger than me had a crush on me. I dated her for a while. One of my best friends somehow went out with the girl I had the crush on. That was 7 years ago I think, and they are still goin out. I saw her during the summer and she didn't look as good as I remembered. Any relationship with her wouldn't have worked out anyway since she's a good Christian and I'm the opposite. She recently sent me something about not getting hooked on drugs.

I was in love with the king of the drama club/freaks at my Junior High. I was a total social retart. I named the baby I thought we would have after the drum machine in Echo and the Bunnymen. I told one of his friends I liked him (classic) and when it got back around to me, he felt like I was stalking him and it weirded him out. I said ridiculous and outrageous things when he was around. He never gave me back my copy of Adolescent Radioactive BlackBelt Hamsters in 3-D.
I Googled him last week and found that he's been doing little parts on TV dramas, so I put his name into the Tivo wishlist and now I'm waiting to see him on television! Hooray!

Pamela was her name. She was in my elementary school and I was all dressed up for the first day of sixth grade, complete with my mulit-colored sneakers and tie-dyed pants. I thought I looked sharp. I see her and go over to say hi and before I could get a word out she says, " What happened to you? Looks like you were hit by a hurricane."
Don't know where she is now.

When i was in 2nd grade i had a crush on a girl Julianne DeFelice who was in my eldest brothers class in 8th grade. I went to the drug store and bought one of them big cards for her. It was a major crush. She had long black hair and the prettiest face with rosy cheeks.
I would go several blocks to the neighborhood where she hung out with her friends just to be near her and they would call me Charlie Brown because my dad would give me the bowl haircut .

I had countless crushes when I was a kid but was a short and skinny twerp and had no nerve to even approach these girls.
I would do stupid stuff just like you stugots- one of my crush' worked at a pizza restaraunt so I would constantly order pizza there just to talk make a somewhat lame attempt at having her ntice me.
Umm PS- Stugots how do you know she isnt a board member and reading your post as we speak?

I crushed on this guy Darrick who had a fraternal twin named Damon. All of the girls in our school basically crushed on one or the other, as they were your standard issue blond haired, blue eyed, 2nd grade stud muffins who transferred in from another school and were rumored to have *money* lol.
Nothing ever happened... we were pals... I was kind of a tomboy until I transferred to a private Catholic HS so ... oh well! He now lives in Arizona where he is a financial planner - I googled him haha. I haven't spoken to him since 8th grade.
The funny thing is.... me and Fallon found an old old notepad of mine while cleaning my moms apt this weekend... and in it was a note that said 'i luv Darrick' written in kid-script
lol too funny.

I had a crush on a girl a year older than me in high school. A really artistic talented chick. Because of circumstances, we got seperated, but we wrote to each other all the time. She ended up going to school in Manhattan, and I would visit her whenever I could. I was in love with this chick, but there came a time when she did not reciprocate my feelings. Boo Hoo. I was miserable. Anyways, she became involved with the underground music scene and moved on.
Cut to fifteen years later...She tracks me down somehow at my job, e-mails me. I e-mail her back. Then I hear nothing more from her. What the hell is that?
For me in HS it was A, who was sort of drama queen. For me it was love at first sight. Only time it's really happened to me. She could eventually tell the way I felt even because I was fucking freaking out whenever she was around though I never asked her out and shot me down. We didn't really know each other that well at the time (my sophomore year, her freshman year.....)
The story would have ended there but it became a full fledged saga.....
As it turned out, by the end of Junior year we came to run in the same circles and had way too many mutual friends so I was seeing her on a regular basis. It became very apparent that this wasn't going to be so easy. At the very least I thought, I was going to convince her that I wasn't such a bad or weird guy. So I befriended her and asked her to prom and she agreed.
Things went south in a major way then because, in the interim, she started dating my really good friend. They dated through the summer before I went to school and then eventually he dumped her. We continued to be close through my freshman year of college until she basically was replaced for me by another girl. She did admit though before the end that she probably should have dated me. I literally did the Cameron Frye scream from Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
She's a grad student I think at Penn now. I'm still really good friends with the guy she dated (amazingly enough).

I can't count the number of crushes I had. I could talk to girls just fine, but I never had the nerve to ask any of them out until the 10th grade. There were several that I ran into after High School, that I ran into from time to time, who told me they had crushes on me. Twenty five years later, I still occasionally run into an old crush that tells me she liked me. Damn... I missed out on a lot of action!

i was the same way. i think i had a new crush every couple of weeks, but never said anything. the few i did, i embarrassed the hell outta myself and would kill my confidence for the next one. i was a mess with girls in high school, probably the reason i was glad to leave.

Here's an example of how useless I was with asking girls out. Even though I had finally been successful at getting dates by my senior year, I embarrassed myself when I asked a girl to the senior prom. I'd had a crush on Debbie since the 7th grade. I finally got around to asking her out in the 12th. My exact words (over the phone) were, "Would you like to go to me with the prom?"
Amazingly enough... She ignored my awkward phrasing, and said yes.
I had the opposite problem, and still do. I hardly like anybody. Especially in HS, I had grown up with a lot of those girls that were in my year especially and had known them since like elementary school. It would have been weird to date them. I also didn't think they were particularly hot but that's just me I guess.

in 7th grade i started going steady with kim, and at her bar mitzvah i met her friend becky, i feel in love, and gave her 'get a grip' tape by aerosmith. i never saw her again. kim has an older sister that is now bi sexual.
There were many, but almost all ended in: "who likes me??"...then them seeing me and laughing so hard that milk shot out of thier nose....just another name on the "people I want to kill" list.

My biggest crush was on my high school best friend Amy. Tall, long brunette hair. She told me she loved me, but loved me like her brother. When went to the prom together our junior year (as friends), and she ended up hooking up with the town bad boy. Not a great night for me nor was the time right after college when I heard she made out with my brother. We've stayed close friends, and, at her request, I did the readings for her at her wedding.
She's still very hot.
Uhh.. I met my ex-boyfriend when I was 9, we met in the 4th grade and went to high school together.
I'm a little jealous. The odd thing is that usually girls have to get to know me for awhile before they like me. So the girls who had known me the longest in HS were also the ones I wasn't as interested in.
You can see why that, in conjunction with my propensity to become infatuated with one girl and block everything else out kind of screwed me in HS.

i was going this way with it:
Sometimes its hard to be a woman
Giving all your love to just one man
You'll have bad times
And he'll have good times
Doing things that you don't understand
But if you love him you'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand
And if you love him
Oh be proud of him
'Cause after all he's just a man
Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When nights are cold and lonely
Stand by your man
And tell the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man
Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man

I had a crush on this girl in the second grade for this third grade girl. It was so strange to me because up till that point nothing about girls interested me. I thought about her a lot and my heart pounded when she was near me, and I told someone and they told her. People who knew kind of corralled us together in a circle of people and were taunting us and telling her to kiss me. She kissed me and then she ran away and I stood there in ecstasy. I dont remember what happened to her, but she had features I am still drawn to in women.

okay, so my first crush was not on a boy at school...it was Barry Williams aka: Greg Brady. I was 7 yrs old and absolutely in love with him. My mom took me to see him in Atlantic City at the Million Dollar Pier - he was singing. We were standing right in front of the stage. My mom lifted me up cuz he was leaning down to shake people's hands. I reached my tiny hand up as he came toward our section.....and....he stepped on it! Bastard!!!!! Crush OVER. He didn't even notice.
thing is...had he apologized - I totally would have blown him.

Had a crush on this cute boy from 3rd grade through 8th. Were almost always in the same classes and homerooms, even in junior high. Last saw him Nov. of '95 around my neighborhood after we started at different high schools. Haven't seen or heard of him since but I still wonder about him now and then.
