Judaism is a religion...Jewish is a race

It all depends on whether you consider being Jewish itself as being a different race, as many people do. I have NO idea how that works.

It all depends on whether you consider being Jewish itself as being a different race, as many people do. I have NO idea how that works.

My experience with Jewish people, which is pretty much limited to my girlfriend and her family, has taught me that there's more to being Jewish than just going to temple on Saturday. It is something you are born into. Its as much a heritage as it is a religion. So saying that someone is half-Italian and half-Jewish makes sense when you think about it that way.

Well, Jews are considered to be a "Semitic" people (as they are from the middle east)

BUT there was also a LARGE population of Jews in Spain before they were expelled in 1492. These are known as Sepphardic Jews, and they speak a kind of pidgin Spanish mixed with hebrew
