I dont know how to post a link here, since i use Fire Fox an it wont let me COPY and PASTE, but on MSN, there is a story that Orton, Edge and Shane Helms have been found in a report with Gary Mathews jr. Sure, i know its not too shockin to find a wrestler with roids, but im shocked that Edge was one of them.

It's not like these drugs are allowing these athletes to do crazy things that we would never be able to see. Sure, you might not get monsters knocking out 50-60 home runs a year as often...but you'd still get plenty of guys hitting 30-40. The drugs are not necessary to be entertained by these sports and whatever the hell wrestling is.

But with legit sports even if it wasn't against the rules the problem is that not everyone will do it because of the health problems it causes. Now you're going to tell me that if the players on your favorite team don't want to do it but all the guys on another team will and they constantly win and beat your team that you'll still enjoy watching?

There are of course exceptions to the rule, but most guys' bodies tend to break down from their sport once they get off the juice.

Here is the article,

http://msn.foxsports.com/other/story/6550426

"Also linked to the scandal, in various reports, are baseball's Jose Canseco, John Rocker, Jerry Hairston Jr. and David Bell, former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, Pittsburgh Steelers doctor Richard Rydze, 1996 Olympic wrestling gold medalist Kurt Angle and bodybuilder Victor Martinez."

Victor Martinez actually comes quite often to the same gym I attend here in Jersey, and I can say pretty confidently just from hearing things being spoken there that it is absolutely true in his case.

I agree in organized sports your right it should not be in, but wrestling these guys are only killing themselves. Vinny Mac loves to say he has a steroid ban, but he never uses his drug testing unless he wants the person gone. I would be interested in seeing how they use this and ignore it till after wrestlemania.

It was always so obvious, especially with Orton and those crazed eyes.

On his MySpace blog, Edge freely admits to steroid use, but says he's been clean for the past year.

http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=107643765& blogID=243887243&Mytoken=70BD2221-FE20-4099-A94E4E922FA84E133878819

I dont really see a problem with wrestlers using steroids... I see them as performers, actors if you will. How many people in Hollywood have had face lifts, tummy tucks, breast implants, hair implants, collagen injectiions, botex, etc.? All these are enhancements that people have made to their appearance to make them more "marketable" or appealing to the general public. The guys know the consequences of using HGH, steroids, etc... Who are we to judge them for doing so?

and what the heck...? The article names the probably the smallest guys in the company....and not the "obvious" ones...

not mentioning names.. at all.. ever...

Im well aware of it. But since steroids are used to enhance your appearance that was the only logical comparison that could be made.
