Newspaper and blog reports in recent months have Google shopping its phone design to potential mobile phone manufacturing partners in Asia.</p><p>"Mobile is an important area for Google," Google spokeswoman Erin Fors said on Friday. "We remain focused on creating applications and establishing and growing partnerships with industry leaders to develop innovative services for users worldwide. No, he means google functionality will be on the phone, including google search for the web and google maps.

So I thought that meant they were part of the iPhone team.</p>

I cant tell if you're being sarcastic. But has Google fucked up YouTube? All i know is that they paid like 1.5 billion or something for it.

<p>hate it</p><p>what we need is one of those smart phones that we can put voice over ip on and never pay for minutes again.</p><p>just internet connection on your phone, which would make it so i could afford both instead of a shitty smart phone that i only use to like 25 percent of its potential</p><p><a href="http://www.flipstartpc.com/">this is way cooler</a> </p><p>google wants to bring google to people with out pcs? thats the worst reason to put out a phone i have ever heard, sucks </p>

It looks like it would be wifi with cell network capability, not just a smartphone.</p><p> </p><p>Without pcs? you referring to sprint/verizon CDMA? i think GSM would be the way to go. </p>
