This sucks, my almamater (Umass) lost ine the Hockey East semifinals. That may cost them a tournament bid

And they wonder why college hockey doesn't catch on. Who the fuck has ESPNU?? ESPN is fuckin ridiculous, I can't even go on the website because if i want to read an article I have to pay them!!

But I am excited about the frozen four!! I think you have to play hockey to appreciate the game! There is no sport like it!!!!!

Ive been there bro. I have had 5 knee surgeries due to hockey. Missed most of my senior year at UMass due to a torn MCL,ACL. I know it sucks, hang in there though.
Yeah it sucks, I just had the surgery on monday. At least I pick a good time to do it though, haven't missed a game in the tourney!

Bossanova wrote:
Thats good, playoffs any time soon for you?
I missed them already for fall league. I don't think I am playing summer league because it is only mens league and I want to make sure my knee is good to go so I can play for years to come. I know 27 is not very old but shit after playing hockey since I was young my body feels like its 45 or so!

Hell, I'm 32 and still playing three times a week so don't be so down. As for the frozen four, it's a fucking shame we don't see it until that actual moment. Fuck espn again, first for it's low ball bid for the nhl, second for it's glorification of any NY or Boston team and finally for it's use of college hockey.
