I hate this Pepsi commercial. You can't capture an entire decade in 6 seconds. The 60's wasn't all about peace marches and the 80's wasn't all break dancing and the Berlin Wall. In general, it annoys me when history is reduced down to a few images that are deemed iconic and fed to younger generation as to say "This is all you need to know about the past."

The Palm Pre girl is just plain frightening. It's like something out of The Ring. Especially the one where she's talking about the juggler in the park. It has this creepy, lilting piano music in the background, and she turns towards the camera, turns away, and back again, but she moves in this herky-jerky way, like that dead girl who climbs out of the television set in The Ring. She has the crazy eyes, four sides white, and she stares through the TV screen as if to steal your soul. I think they're doing this deliberately, to make the commercial and product stick in your head, and maybe give you nightmares. Totally subliminal marketing, whereas I think the Burger King is unintentionally frightening.

They also did this horribly-conceived campaign a year or two ago where they brought Orvill Redenbacher back to life via CGI. That dude was creepy to begin with, but then they show him jumping around, looking like the crypt-keeper, eating popcorn.

I don't think the idea was to have a baby that looked younger. If they used the same baby, he practically wouldn't be a baby anymore. Those commercials have been out a year. Do realize how much older the first one must look by now?
