MAC OSX : Safari Browser

<p>I wanted to clear my history and all my personal information from the browser so I followed directions.</p><p>I reset the browser and emptied the cache and everything got erased successfully.</p><p>But.........</p><p>When I open the browser again and type an address in the address bar, it drops down and list all the sites I visited with the letter I began the address.</p><p>For Example : I type http://www.m and I get all the sites that start with M (myspace.com, megatokyo.com, msn.com). I want all these address to be removed, but as much as I reset and empty the cache, they don't leave. </p><p>After reviewing online, there is supposesly an option that says &quot;Private Browsing&quot; but thats not available in my browser.</p><p>I'm running the Tiger OS, 10.3, Ibook.</p><p>Any advice? </p><p>&nbsp;</p>

<p>Click on &quot;Safari&quot; and in the drop down menu right above &quot;Clear Cache&quot; is &quot;Reset Safari.&quot;&nbsp; </p><p>Click on &quot;Reset&quot; and it'll empty your history, your cookies, your logged in sessions, etc. &nbsp; </p><p>Everything will be wiped clean.&nbsp;</p>

I have been using the Firefox browser on my Mac and it is very easy to clear that stuff.&nbsp; Get Firefox and the board will look better too.&nbsp; There is no downside, and you'll have the option of a second browser.&nbsp; Gvac helped me too!&nbsp;

Try setting your cookies to allow non-porn websites.
