CD Burning

Keep getting error with winamp and nero with my burner, "Loss of Stream" or something like that.  Only happens with one drive, and it's fairly new.  I can still burn CD's with my DVD-R but only at 8x, think the drive is shot already?

have you tried another burning proggie? try burning some files using Windows's built-in cd burning and see if you get a similar error
