Meh.  You probably did, and nobody wanted to talk to you.Personally, I'm not a big guitar solo guy.  If a song gets to a point where I stop and realize, "hey, that's a guitar solo," that's usually too much noodling and musical wanking for me.  I prefer my songs to be tighter...I don't mind some musical breakdowns now and then, but extended solos and jams or whatever just aren't my bag.

the only solo i've heard that i really feel is the one in Killswitch Engage's cover of Dio's "Holy Diver".  the update version is much better.

for old school there is something that seems a little extra special about the solo in Back In Black and Iron ManFor not so "old school" my favorite/unique is STP in Trippin On A Hole  and a live version of Clapton and Tina Turner doing Tearin Us Apart
