<font size="2">79th street or so is a good spot.&nbsp; it's far up enough to be less packed, but not too close to the end that the marchers don't care.&nbsp; if you're on the east side of the block it's easier to get to some nice (and less packed) bars afterwards.&nbsp; last year we went to <a href="http://newyork.citysearch.com/profile/7175128/new_york_ny/ryan_s_daughter.html" target="_blank">ryan's daughter</a> afterwards and it was a cool spot. </font>
