Did you get them all personally ?

I only met a few Apollo Astros, and only two moonwalkers [Buzz Aldrin of Ap 11 amd Pete Conrad of Ap 12]. The autos were mostly gotten through astronaut art, mostly stuff Ap 12 Moonwalker Al Bean paints, they make lithos, the astros sign them; with that at least you know you're getting a real auto, coz the astros themselves are doing it. Ditto with the Merc 7, they put out a litho signed by 6 of the 7 [Gus died in Ap 1 in 1967 but his wife Betty signed it], so Gus' auto is a real rare one.

I met Sagan three times, in 1994 at conferences in Wash DC; so that was really cool, talking with him.

Clyde Tombaugh, while he was still alive, I sent a letter to him on a lark, and asked for a simple auto; and he sent me back this big letter, hand written in 90+ year old writing, detailing exactly how and when and where he discovered Pluto.

=

60 mins did a thing a few years back on fraud in autographs, specifically in the sports field, and it was pretty devestating. 60 minutes sent crews to the most reputable shows and bought Ted Williams signed balls from the most reputable dealers and brought them to him, and he said he saigned maybe 3 of the ten or so they brought him; he then told how they had a bat boy who could sign just his name about well as he could, etc.

eBay has the most rediculous fakes, its unreal. Their are Neil Armstrong autos getting bids that aren't even close.

I have a baseball autographed by Dale Murphy (Atlanta Braves 1976-1989)...

I also have a few other Braves players that didn't really amount to much...

My father was once 15 minutes late to have a book signed for me by Mickey Mantle (one of his heroes); and I was 15 minutes late to have "My Life" signed by Bill Clinton (my personal hero)...So I guess those go in the every-growing "shoulda, woulda, coulda" file I have in my life....
